Handsome Danish Modern chest, designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. Crafted from richly toned teak, with a striking grain pattern across the drawer fronts. The case is clean and architectural, softened by subtly beveled edges and Søborg’s signature finger-jointed construction. Sculpted inset pulls are carved directly into the drawer fronts. Construction quality is evident throughout, with finely executed joinery and solid casework characteristic of Søborg’s high manufacturing standards. The dresser is supported by minimal dowel legs with a stretcher, lending visual lightness while maintaining stability. In very good condition, with a well-preserved interior. The teak surfaces have been cleaned and polished.
