Pair of Danish Modern server cabinets with tambour doors, designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. The tambour doors slide smoothly to reveal adjustable shelves inside, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of these pieces. The cabinets are finished with refined details such as carved handles, a beveled edge, and signature finger-joinery. Sturdy and well-built, the cabinets are supported by a plinth base. Originally part of a modular storage system, these cabinets can be matched with other cases by the designer from our collection. In fine vintage condition, the rich teak wood surface has been polished and shows a beautiful patina developed with age. Denmark, 1950s.
