Danish Modern drop-front secretary designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. Constructed in richly grained teak, the cabinet features a locking drop-front writing surface that opens to reveal two shallow document trays with divided compartments. Below are three small drawers and two full-width drawers, each fitted with distinctive sculpted crescent-shaped pulls. Exposed finger joints, dovetailed drawers, and rounded dowel legs are characteristic details of the design. Originally part of a modular storage system, the secretary can be paired with the matching two-level tambour cabinet in our collection.
