Each seat is hand-caned and fitted with loose black leather cushions at the seat and back, suspended from the upper rail. The contrast between warm mahogany and black leather underscores material clarity and proportion. Frames present with rich, even patina and precise joinery throughout. Cane remains intact and taut. Leather cushions are supple and soft with age.
