Model FD-136 Lounge Chair, designed by Finn Juhl for France and Daverkosen, imported by John Stuart. The sculptural teak frame features the Danish designer’s signature floating backrest and a subtly contoured seat. The wood is finely figured and gleaming, with exceptional joinery and precise carving, especially at the arms. Robust frame is in beautiful condition, with an attractive patina. The current cognac faux leather upholstery has a warm presence and can be used as-is, though new upholstery is recommended. Inquire for custom upholstery restoration. Maker's mark and retailer's medallions both present on the underside of the frame.
