Vintage DAX fiberglass armchair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, shown here in a deep navy blue colorway with original zinc-plated Eiffel base. The shell retains the softly reflective surface and visible fiberglass threading characteristic of early production examples. The navy blue shell has a deep, inky tone with dense, thready fiberglass visible throughout the surface. The form remains sharply defined along the edge transitions and integrated arms.
The original zinc Eiffel base remains intact with original glides present. Surface wear and light oxidation to the base are consistent with age and use. The underside carries the molded Herman Miller mark.
