Arne Jacobsen Grand Prix Chairs

$6,500.00

Set of six Model 4130 Grand Prix dining chairs, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen and retailed through Illums Bolighus. The sculpted shell haas a sharp, graphic silhouette, while the choice teak brings warmth and grain variation to the form. Lightweight and comfortable, the chairs stack easily and move well in a room, ideal for a dining area or a work table where pieces are in constant use.

Each chair is marked with the Fritz Hansen maker’s logo on the underside and retains the metal tag from Illums Bolighus, the landmark Copenhagen design store that championed modern Danish furniture. The teak has a rich tone throughout and the set presents well in good vintage condition.
