Fireplace tool set designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Dimensione Fuoco, Italy, circa 1970s. The three implements are constructed in brass with long, flat shafts punctuated by circular cutouts and faceted dark wood handles finished with brass collars. The set includes a shovel, poker, and articulated fire tool with a distinctive curved brass lever. Each piece hangs from a compact stand with a square iron base and dark wooden central support. The precise geometry, exposed mechanical details, and contrasting materials are characteristic of the Scarpas' architectural approach to domestic objects. Retains the Dimensione Fuoco manufacturer's stamps on the implements and stand.
